Printed Circuit Board Assembly is a process requiring both innovative manufacturing concepts and flexible technology. At PMI, our PCB assembly process has been designed to accommodate all types of printed circuit boards, whether they be small, large, single-sided, double-sided, thin, thick, layered, or even requiring mixed technology. We know that successful PCB assembly requires explicit attention to detail and a broad understanding of how your PCB design needs to function.

PMI operates numerous Automatic Placement SMT Assembly lines that are equipped with state of art manufacturing equipment.  The screen printers from MPM include vision and the Tyco Pick and Place machines are capable of placing components ranging in size from 0201 through and including fine pitch QFP and BGA IC's.  It also uses a patented in-process optical component alignment which includes upward looking cameras to inspect the fine pitch leads and ball mass of the components prior to them being placed.  The Electrovert reflow ovens have nine zones to provide the flexibility to dial in the exact temperature profile utilizing our ECD M.O.L.E. - GOLD profiler.  Our Triton IV closed loop DI Board cleaning system and AOI vision inpection machines complete these high-tech assembly lines.
